Beestenboel – Dirk Draulans

It's out! The new book of Dirk Draulans, full of fascinating facts and stories of 100 curious animals. Some of the species are more familiar, while there are others you've probably never heard of before. Draulans is a well known Belgium biologist, journalist and writer, mostly active for Knack magazine. I was very honoured when he asked me to make some illustrations for the book.

Second Do-Book – ROOTS

Roots just published a second Do-Book for kids. This time it's all about birds. The book contains many games and puzzles, including this find the difference puzzle of my Bohemian waxwing (Bombycilla garrulus) illustration.

Inverde – Kingfisher

Inverde recently asked me to make an illustration of a diving kingfisher for their new promo postcard. Inverde is the Flemish market leader in giving training sessions on forestry, green space and nature management. The postcards are printed on ‘Grass Paper’ - paper that is partly made of sun dried grass from Flemish nature reserves. Here's the result.
